The next session of the A19 seminar series (VALE / LARCA) will take place on Friday, January 27, 2pm-4pm at Sorbonne Université, Bibliothèque de l’UFR d’études anglophones (esc. G, 2nd floor; 54 rue Saint Jacques or 17 rue de la Sorbonne, 75005 Paris) / zoom (the link will be posted on the A19 website a few days prior to the seminar).

Todd Carmody will give a talk entitled « Work Requirements: Literary Labour and Social Welfare, » drawn from his recently published book, Work Requirements: Race, Disability, and The Print Culture of Social Welfare (Duke UP, 2022).
