Abstract: The following paper will consider the discipline of literature and art and their reinventions to stress on their commitment to repairing the human. It will theorise the current moment of genocidal epistemicide in its relation to literature and art to assess their position in embodying our worlds. The relation of literature and repair in such times of gigantic debris appears more-than-ever tenuous. Foregrounding such critical reflections on literature’s survival in our colonial present, this paper attempts to theorise literature and art of repair, which repudiate attachment to metaphors that they recreate in order to survive.
