Héloïse Lecomte est Maîtresse de conférences à la Faculté des Lettres de Sorbonne Université, où elle enseigne la littérature britannique et la traduction. Ses travaux de recherche portent sur l’élégie et les enjeux éthiques et politiques des représentations du deuil dans la littérature britannique et irlandaise contemporaine. Ayant co-fondé en 2021 le séminaire international en ligne « Invisible Lives Silent Voices » avec Alice Borrego, Gero Guttzeit et Esther Peeren, elle a également coordonné des événements scientifiques et publié plusieurs articles dans le champ des études sur l’invisibilité et la spectralité (Etudes britanniques contemporaines 61, Zeitschrift für Anglistik und Amerikanistik 72.1). Ses projets actuels s’orientent vers les humanités environnementales pour explorer les représentations littéraires et artistiques du deuil écologique.

Héloïse Lecomte is Senior Lecturer at Sorbonne Université, in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, where she teaches British literature and translation. Her research focuses on the poetics and politics of grief in contemporary British and Irish literature. Together with Alice Borrego, Esther Peeren and Gero Guttzeit, she also co-founded the transdisciplinary seminar and research network “Invisible Lives Silent Voices” in 2021, which has led to the organisation of conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as the publication of special issues in the field of invisibility and spectrality studies (Etudes britanniques contemporaines 61, Zeitschrift für Anglistik und Amerikanistik 72.1). She is now exploring the artistic and literary representations of ecological grief in anglophone literature.
