Aurélien Saby est l’auteur d’une thèse sur l’œuvre de W.H. Auden soutenue à Paris IV (laboratoire VALE) en juin 2013. Ses travaux de recherche portent à la fois sur l’œuvre de W.H. Auden et sur des auteurs contemporains influencés par W.H. Auden, notamment le poète britannique John Fuller. Il s’intéresse également aux rapports entre poésie et photographie et a consacré plusieurs articles au photographe contemporain David Hurn. Il enseigne en classes préparatoires littéraires et commerciales au lycée Hélène Boucher de Paris.

Aurélien Saby earned a PhD from Sorbonne Université in 2013. His dissertation was about W.H. Auden’s work and is entitled “W.H. Auden: Loss and Bearings in the City”. His current research focuses both on W.H. Auden and on contemporary writers inspired by W.H. Auden, notably the British poet John Fuller. He also works on the relationship between photography and poetry and has dedicated several articles to the contemporary British photographer David Hurn. He teaches English at lycée Hélène Boucher in Paris.
