Adeline Chevrier-Bosseau enseigne la traduction au niveau Licence et master MEEF, et encadre des masters en littérature américaine XIXe (poésie) et études en danse (danse américaine principalement). Ses travaux de recherche portent sur la poésie américaine, la littérature et les arts de la scène (danse), le rapport entre lyrisme et théâtralité, la danse, et la recherche-création (littérature et danse). Elle a publié  Emily Dickinson du côté de Shakespeare, modalités théâtrales du lyrisme (2020, PUBP), et dirigé le numéro spécial des Cahiers Élisabéthains, Dancing Shakespeare in Europe: silent eloquence, the body and the space(s) of play within and beyond language (Volume 102, n°1, juillet 2020: https://doi.org/10.1177/0184767820914508), ainsi qu’un numéro spécial du Emily Dickinson Journal . Elle est membre junior de l’IUF (2021) et prépare actuellement un ouvrage sur la danse et la littérature américaine du XIXe siècle ainsi qu’une création chorégraphique autour d’une sélection de poèmes d’Emily Dickinson.

 

Adeline Chevrier-Bosseau teaches translation classes (undergrad and Master MEEF) and supervises graduate dissertations on 19th-century American literature (poetry) and dance studies (mainly American dance). Her research focuses on American poetry, literature and the performing arts (especially dance), the connections between the lyric and theatricality, dance, and practice-based research on dance and literature. She has published Emily Dickinson du côté de Shakespeare, modalités théâtrales du lyrisme (2020, PUBP), and directed a special issue of Cahiers Élisabéthains, Dancing Shakespeare in Europe: silent eloquence, the body and the space(s) of play within and beyond language (Volume 102, n°1, July 2020: https://doi.org/10.1177/0184767820914508), as well as a special issue of the Emily Dickinson Journal. She is a junior member of the IUF and she is currently working on a book project on dance and 19th-century American literature, as well as on a choreographic project inspired by a selection of poems by Emily Dickinson.
