Agrégée et docteure en littérature britannique contemporaine, Jeanne Schaaf a soutenu une thèse intitulée « Lieux et non lieux du théâtre écossais : constellations identitaires à l’ère postnationale » sous la direction du Professeur Élisabeth Angel-Perez. Sa recherche s’intéresse au rapport qu’entretiennent théâtre et nation, aux scènes locales et globales, ainsi qu’à l’émergence de nouvelles communautés artistiques à l’ère du numérique. Elle a publié des articles et des chapitres d’ouvrages sur le théâtre écossais contemporain, et également traduit une pièce de David Harrower. Elle occupe un poste de PRAG à Sorbonne Université au sein du département de l’INSPE.

Jeanne Schaaf (Agrégation, Ph.D.) has defended a thesis intitled "The places and non-places of the Scottish stage: identity constellations in a postnational era” under the supervision of Elisabeth Angel Pérez. Her fields of research include the link between theatre and nation, the tension between of local and global stages, as well as the emergence of new artistic communities in a technological era. She has published articles and contributed to scientific publications on contemporary Scottish theatre and she has translated a play by David Harrower. She currently teaches as PRAG at Sorbonne Université in the INSPE Department.
