En Sorbonne, j’assure des cours de traduction à tous les niveaux (licence, agrégation), des cours de littérature (TD licence L3), un cours d’entraînement aux épreuves orales de l’agrégation, et un cours sur l’image photographique (« Penser la photographie à partir du texte et de l’image ») à l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques, Paris. Plusieurs domaines de recherche retiennent mon intérêt : littératures canadienne et nord-américaine, théories des formes culturelles, hip-hop, photographie. J’ai consacré de nombreux articles à ces questions, notamment à la romancière et poète canadienne Margaret Atwood. Je m’intéresse actuellement à l’histoire du champ théorique (« French Theory », études culturelles) tel qu’il évolue depuis les années 60, et prépare un article sur la photographie du 19e siècle (Alfred Stieglitz).

 

At the Sorbonne, I teach translation classes at all levels (degree and agrégation), literature seminars (degree level, final year), and offer oral coaching for the agrégation examination. I also teach a class on photography (“Thinking photography through text and image”) at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po), Paris. My research interests are eclectic, ranging from Canadian and North American literature to hip-hop; I have also published on theoretical debates within the broad field of cultural studies. My publications reflect these interests and include articles/chapters on Margaret Atwood, Toni Morrison and Slavoj Žižek. Currently I am working on the history of theoretical debate in the humanities, its evolution and mutations over the past 50 years, and am preparing an article on late 19th century photography (Alfred Stieglitz).
