DESCRIPTION:Please scroll down for English version \nChères et chers collègues\, \nLes journées d’étude organisées par l’équipe « Canon Factory » depuis l’automne 2023 (Projet Émergence 2023-2025\, VALE UR 4085 et REIGENN UR 3556\, Sorbonne Université) ont permis d’amorcer une discussion féconde sur la notion complexe\, paradoxale et fluctuante de canon littéraire dans les aires anglophone\, germanophone\, néerlandophone et nordique. Dans une perspective transnationale\, elles se sont efforcées d’apporter un éclairage croisé sur son institution et les forces qui l’animent\, ses enjeux idéologiques ainsi que sa critique voire sa remise en cause. À dessein de conclure son cycle bisannuel de manifestations et d’engager des perspectives de réflexion nouvelles\, l’équipe « CanFac » organise un colloque international intitulé « Feu (sur) le canon » / “Taking a Shot at the Canon” les 19\, 20 et 21 juin 2025 à Sorbonne Université. L’appel à communication et la bibliographie indicative sont disponibles ici : Appel à communications \n\nMerci d’adresser d’ici au 16 décembre 2024 une proposition de communication en 400 mots maximum en français ou en anglais (Times New Roman 12 ; espace simple ; entièrement justifiée) ainsi qu’un titre provisoire\, le nom complet de l’auteur.e\, son affiliation institutionnelle et une courte notice bio-bibliographique à l’adresse canon_factory@sorbonne-universite.fr\nConfirmation des propositions retenues sur avis du comité scientifique : 24 janvier 2025.\n\n\nLes communications (soumises en anglais) retenues après évaluation en double aveugle feront l’objet d’une publication.\n\nBien cordialement\, \nGuillaume Fourcade (VALE UR 4085\, Sorbonne Université) et Kim Andringa (REIGENN UR 3556\, Sorbonne Université) \nThe series of one-day conferences held by the “Canon Factory” project team since the autumn of 2023 (Emergence programme 2023-2025\, VALE UR 4085 and REIGENN UR 3556\, Sorbonne Université) has developed into a fruitful inquiry into the complex\, paradoxical\, and fluctuating notion of “literary canon” in the English-language\, Dutch-language\, German-language and Scandinavian literatures. Adopting a transnational perspective\, they have brought complementary insights into the way the canon comes to be\, the forces at work behind it\, its ideological stakes\, and its critique\, if not at times radical questioning.
